The Public Policy Committee assists Chamber staff in monitoring, formulating and evaluating legislative issues and makes recommendations and provides support for candidates/ballot proposals.  It reviews candidates who are seeking office at the federal, state and local levels representing the Battle Creek area, making its candidate recommendations to the Chamber's Board of Directors.  It facilitates political forums for community awareness/involvement, and fosters relationships between the community and government.
