A $10,000 reward has been pledged for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the responsible parties connected to the December 11, 2007, armed robbery of Franklin Iron & Metal located at 103 South Avenue, Battle Creek. Carefully study the suspect sketches above.

The Silent Observer Program was initiated in 1970 to allow individuals with knowledge of crimes in our community to call and release information while remaining entirely anonymous.

How the Silent Observer program works is…if you see a crime being committed or have information about a crime, call (269) 964-3888. Say you want to be a "Silent Observer." Do not give your name. Give a code number to identify yourself. Keep your code number a secret. Describe the crime, giving as much information as possible (names, descriptions, locations, license plate numbers, etc.). If your Silent Observer tip is the key to solving a felony, you may receive a reward. In the case of this felony, if there are arrests and convictions a $10,000 reward will be presented.
