Honorees

AthenaThe prestigious ATHENA Award will be presented to one of Battle Creek's top professional or businesswomen at a special celebration, November 2, 2005, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., at Burnham Brook. The award is presented to a woman who has attained and personified the highest level of excellence in business and the professional community.

The recipient of the ATHENA Award must display the following criteria: a proven level of excellence and growth in a business or professional arena; perseverance, initiative, and creativity in business, profession, and community; ability to serve as a role model and advocate for women in the workplace or community; and provision of valuable service to the community.

The Battle Creek Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2005 ATHENA Honorees:
