Celebrate the Golden
Anniversary of The Worlds Longest Breakfast Table Thursday,
June 8th through Sunday, June 11th in downtown Battle Creek, Michigan.
Tony
the Tiger, Sugar Bear, Toucan Sam, Snap, Crackle, and Pop will kick
off the weekend with the Cereal Festival Grand Parade Thursday evening
at 6:00pm on Michigan Avenue.
Bring
the family downtown Saturday morning for the World's Longest Breakfast
Table. Kellogg, Kraft/Post Division & Ralston Cereals will be served
along with donut holes and bananas provided by Felpausch Foods from
8:00 a.m. until noon.
Saturday's
activities include Kellogg's 100th Anniversary Cereal City Classic
5K and 10K run/5K walk at the YMCA, children's activities at Kellogg's
Cereal City USA and Mill Race Park, the Food Bank's "Empty Bowl"
in Horse Park, and the first annual Kenducky Derby starting by Willard
Library.
Battle
Creek's cereal heritage is showcased during this unique downtown
festival, established in 1956 as part of the Kellogg Company Golden
Jubilee.
